Narrative

<aside> 🚧 [remove the README once you’re done]

We expect you to explain **why** it is important for our members & our business, why we tackle it **now** and how it maps to the **product area** (or company-wide) **strategy & KPIs**.

The **Narrative** should be enough to get context on the quarter plan. You can link to Problem briefs for readers who want to go deeper

~~~~**Length**: max 200 words, ideally less. AI can help write it up!
# Objectives, Commitments & Tasks
🚧 **[remove the README once you’re done]**
🎯 **OBJECTIVES & COMMITMENTS**
We define **Objectives & Commitments** to outline what the crew is committing to achieve by end of quarter. They are evidence that the crew has made progress on the narrative.
**Objectives** are a 1 line summary that map to the Narrative. They are helpful to group Commitments when the crew is working on several commitments in parallel.
**Commitments** are measures of success:
- We **ideally aim for *outcome metrics*** that we can track weekly, generally for more mature products
    *— Ex: We improved the conversion rate of our self serve onboarding flow from X% to Y% by DATE Z*
- We **aim for *milestone*s for less mature products**. We want high conviction that those milestones lead to the right business & member outcomes
    — It can be about shipping a new product or identifying the main levers to improve a given metric
    *— Ex: We launched our Backpain program and collected early feedback on it
    — Ex: We shipped an action plan to boost employee enrollment in Spain in time to inform Q3 planning*
We expect a maximum of **3 Objectives and 6 Commitments total, ideally less**. You can refocus or merge objectives if you have more than that.
We **aim for 90% of completion on Commitments each cycle**: we stretch ourselves but do not want to be far from our goals given our tight execution goals in 2023.
*Note: we moved from the concept of Key Result to Commitment as it was creating confusion on whether we can aim for milestones.*
🏗 **TASKS**
**For every 6-week cycle, we expect you to list high-level **Tasks** for each objective
~~~~The list of **Tasks** does not need to be exhaustive: it is the team’s best estimate of how to achieve its Commitments and it will likely evolve during a quarter.
- Tasks can be about shipping but also measuring impact, framing or making

List the hard dependencies you have with other crews if any and link to their quarter plan

It will ensure visibility across crews and surface where we could refine our area scopes
