Mental health is a state of well-being that allows a person to cope with the natural challenges of life.
Good mental health is more than just the absence of psychological disorders. It is also a psychological and emotional ability to be resilient and to face difficult situations with flexibility while being able to find balance.
Just like physical health, mental health needs to be nurtured on a daily basis to prevent complications.

It is quite “normal” for an employee to be worried or stressed at work (ambitious objectives, promotion, deadlines, etc). However, this can be the trigger for a series of events that can lead to a psychological disorder.
Although these are often complex and personal issues, the employer has a legal responsibility to ensure the safety and health protection of employees. It is therefore important to take the necessary preventive measures on psychosocial risks but also to create a supportive environment to allow employees to open up about the personal difficulties they encounter.
In addition, Human Resources aim to create an environment of positive emulation and well-being so that their employees can safely reach their full potential. Good mental health is a fundamental component of team performance.
